Personal Dust Sampler VTM 900

A personal air sampler or personal dust sampler is a compact instrument that collects samples of the air an individual breathes. Commonly used in workplaces, these devices help monitor air quality and ensure that workers aren’t exposed to harmful substances.

One challenge in monitoring worker exposure is that employees are often on the move on the shop floor during their regular duties. To address this, the VTM 900 system features a lightweight, battery-operated pump housed in a compact aluminum cabinet, complete with a clip for easy belt attachment. The VTM 900 can sample air at flow rates between 0.5 and 3.0 LPM and is designed to operate for a full 8-hour shift, making it simpler to compare workers’ exposure levels to the specified TLV standards.
